Position : Office Manager

We are looking for someone who can organise and coordinate administrative work in the areas of office management, research, product, and business development, in order to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. This person needs to be comfortable with wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organised, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  2. Proven office management, administrative or assistant skills
  3. Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
  4. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
  5. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong organisational and planning skills
  7. Proficient in G Suites
  8. Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
  9. Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
  10. Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
  11. Knowledge of business and management principles
  12. Knowledge of research and product administrative related tasks
  13. Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages

Job Description:

  1. Developing intra-office communication protocols
  2. Streamlining administrative procedures
  3. Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
  4. Inventory control
  5. Office staff supervision
  6. Manage office budget
  7. Supporting staff with task delegation
  8. Interviewing and training new office employees and organizing their employment paperwork
