When over 52 young people, including participants with disabilities, gathered in Lombok and online on November 13th, 2025, for the kickoff of the Ecopower Enrichment Program, it wasn’t just another community event. It was the beginning of an inclusive movement powered by collaboration, innovation, and the shared belief that every youth deserves the tools to build a sustainable economic future.

Ecopower program by Solve Education!, supported by Allianz Social Impact Fund and Yayasan Allianz Peduli, and supported locally by Universitas Islam Al-Azhar (UNIZAR) and the Nusa Tenggara for Nusantara Foundation, this program is more than a training series. It’s a commitment to reaching those too often left behind, with mentorship, financial education, and accessible learning designed for impact.

The kickoff session marked the first step in a five-month journey that blends online learning on edbot.ai with expert mentoring, monthly challenges, and a showcase of youth-led business ideas. Built on Solve Education!’s GAIN framework, Gamification, AI Coaching, Incentives, and Network, the program helps participants not only learn, but apply, the principles of financial literacy, circular economy, and sustainable business in ways that are relevant to their lives and communities.

Mentorship and Inclusion from Day One

The theme of the first session, Strategi Mengelola Keuangan (Financial Management Strategies), was brought to life by Josida Chairani Meutia, who guided participants through budgeting, saving, and managing personal finances. But the real learning took place in the breakout rooms, where Allianz Indonesia volunteers mentored small groups of youth, including those with visual, auditory, and psychosocial disabilities.

In these rooms, participants created their first personal budgeting plans, discussed their financial goals, and began building relationships with mentors who would guide them throughout the rest of the program. These sessions weren’t just inclusive in theory, they were intentionally designed to ensure every voice was heard and supported.

This was where Solve Education!’s innovation truly shone. Through gamified learning modules on edbot.ai, participants engaged with foundational lessons at their own pace, supported by AI-driven coaching tailored to their skill levels and progress. Incentive structures, such as point-based rewards, provided motivation, while the program’s mentorship network fostered real connections and accountability, especially important for youth with limited access to traditional education systems.

Local Roots, Collective Strength

This grounding in local needs was echoed by leaders and partners who helped bring Ecopower to life.

At the heart of Ecopower’s success in Lombok is the strength of its local implementation. Universitas Islam Al-Azhar (UNIZAR) and the Nusa Tenggara for Nusantara (NTN) Foundation provided not just logistical support—but essential cultural context, outreach, and trust within the community.

Dr. Fathurrahman, S.E., M.Ak., Vice Rector III of Universitas Islam Al-Azhar (UNIZAR) Lombok, welcomed Ecopower participants as the host of the program kickoff. He emphasized UNIZAR’s commitment to an inclusive campus for youth, including participants with disabilities, and the importance of collaboration, financial resilience, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

Why This Matters

Talitha Amalia, Solve Education!’s Co-Founder and COO, highlighted how the program is designed for lasting growth:

“Ecopower is designed to be relevant and inclusive, ensuring every participant, no matter their starting point, can grow with confidence. We’re proud to be working side-by-side with our partners and communities in Lombok.”

Ni Made Daryanti, Chairperson of Yayasan Allianz Peduli and CIO of Allianz Indonesia, emphasized the broader significance of the initiative:

“Selamat kepada Solve Education! yang telah terpilih dari 53 proposal di berbagai negara. Kami di Allianz bangga dapat mendukung program yang sangat inklusif ini, yang memadukan pendidikan keuangan, ekonomi sirkular, dan keberlanjutan dengan semangat kolaborasi. Kami percaya, ketika kita menciptakan kesempatan belajar yang setara, kita sedang membangun masa depan yang lebih tangguh dan adil bagi semua.”

Voice From Participants

The feedback from participants was clear: they felt seen, supported, and empowered.

Muhammad Ati Zul shared, “I’m so happy to join this program. As a person with a disability, I felt truly seen, and I hope this can be a stepping stone toward becoming a successful entrepreneur.”

Another participant, Muhammad Nur Zaini, also expressed his appreciation: “This webinar was really great. We learned how to manage money, and that’s so important for our future.”

This is only the beginning. Over the next few months, participants will continue learning via edbot.ai, take on monthly financial challenges, and receive mentoring from Allianz volunteers. The journey will culminate in a showcase where learners present sustainable business ideas to their communities—turning theory into real-world impact.

Let’s Build More Pathways Together

The Ecopower program continues as a collective journey, powered by youth, guided by mentorship, and grounded in sustainable futures. From mentors to participants, every voice helps open new doors for Indonesia’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
