The Solve for Change grant, supported by Average Foundation, celebrates the power of grassroots innovation. At Solve Education!, our mission is to amplify local leadership and maximize impact by supporting initiatives that make learning accessible, engaging, and relevant.

These 10 youth-led finalist teams share a common vision: creating real, sustainable change in their communities. Their initiatives span entrepreneurship and employment, AI and digital literacy, English and math education, financial literacy, and climate action, directly aligning with our educational pillars and the GAIN framework (Gamification, AI Coaching, Incentives, and Network).

They reflect the spirit of the grant: projects that are feasible, aligned with Average Foundation and Solve Education!’s mission, and focused on improving the lives of underserved children, youth, women, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

1. Yayasan Abhipraya Insan Cendekia Indonesia, Rumah Belajar Abhipraya: A Meaningful Learning Community for Children – Indonesia

Offers joyful, contextual, life-centered education to re-engage children disillusioned by rigid schooling. With themes spanning education, health, and the environment, sessions are grounded in local culture and led by youth facilitators. They help children rediscover learning as a path to self-determination.

2. ASEAN Youth Organization Chapter Indonesia, CANnective: A Digital Bridge to Help Children with Cancer Learn, Express, and Thrive – Indonesia

Supports children with cancer at YKAKI Foundation through a three-day program integrating emotional learning, storytelling, and Edbot.ai. From drawing AI friends to recording reflective videos, the initiative empowers children to stay connected to learning during treatment.

3. Sadar Belajar Indonesia, Jagat Jemari: Adaptive English Program for Blind Children in Yogyakarta – Indonesia

Provides adaptive English education for 30 blind learners using braille, tactile tools, voice-based learning, and personalized mentoring. With Edbot.ai and volunteer mentors, Jagat Jemari expands educational access and inclusion.

4. Gradway, Gradway Leap – Indonesia

Guides recent graduates through post-education transitions with a three-month support program including mentoring, bootcamps, employability coaching, and Edbot.ai-based English learning. Offline meetups and an ambassador model build long-term peer support.

5. WateryNation, ALIRA – Aksi Lerak untuk Inisiasi Regeneratif Alam (Lerak Action for Regenerative Nature Initiatives) – Indonesia

Revives the story of the lerak tree, once central to Cepu’s identity, through forest walks, digital storytelling, and community workshops. Youth and farmers collaborate to bridge conservation and culture through local pride.

Delivers weekly volunteer-led sessions on literacy, numeracy, and life skills for out-of-school children. With a tailored curriculum and emotional mentoring, the initiative supports learners in regaining their educational footing.

7. PEDDLE ILABS, Peddle Innovation Labs – Nigeria

Operates mobile, solar-powered, AI-enabled classrooms in conflict zones. With preloaded gamified content in local languages and trained youth facilitators, Peddle iLabs reaches displaced children with dignity and innovation.

8. Bakti Milenial Foundation – Labuan Bajo for the World: Local Synergy, Global Impact – Indonesia

Mobilizes 100+ youth volunteers across three marginalized island communities to deliver AI workshops, digital training, and environmental action, fusing tradition with future-forward learning.

Combats period poverty through reusable pad banks and powerful visual campaigns of female role models. Coupled with health education, AfriShero builds dignity, confidence, and community awareness.

These 10 finalists are advancing to the final round of the Solve for Change 2025 Grant. From these finalists, a select few will be chosen as winners. The winners will receive funding and access to our GAIN framework: Gamification, AI coaching, Incentives, and Network-building—to help them scale sustainably. Through Edbot.ai and our community-driven model, we ensure that every initiative has the opportunity to grow..
