Solve Education! is looking for an IT Specialist to join our team. This is an entry-level role designed for someone early in their career who wants broad, hands-on exposure across technology, data, automation, and product support.
This role exists to support our program, operations, and product teams by turning real operational needs into working technical solutions. You will learn fast, build real things, and gain visibility across the organisation.
What You Will Do
- Technical Support Across Teams
- Support interdepartmental teams with day-to-day technical needs.
- Troubleshoot tools, workflows, data request, and integrations.
- Translate non-technical requests into workable technical solutions.
- Data & Analytics
- Collect, clean, and structure data from multiple sources.
- Perform basic to intermediate data analysis to support decision-making.
- Build dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker Studio or similar platforms.
- Help present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Development & Automation
- Build and maintain simple web pages or landing pages.
- Develop lightweight tools, scripts, or internal utilities.
- Set up AI agents, automations, and workflows using existing platforms and APIs.
- Reduce manual work through practical automation.
- Learning & Improvement
- Learn modern tools, frameworks, and workflows on the job.
- Document solutions so others can reuse and maintain them.
- Improve systems incrementally without over-engineering.
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
- This role is:
- Entry-level, hands-on, and learning-oriented.
- Broad rather than deeply specialised.
- A strong foundation role within the Technology department.
- This role is not:
- A narrow IT helpdesk-only role.
- A senior engineering or architect position.
- A passive role with step-by-step instructions.

What We’re Looking For
- Technical Foundations
- Basic ability to code (any language is acceptable).
- Comfort working with data (spreadsheets, simple databases, SQL, APIs).
- Interest in dashboards and reporting tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Basic understanding of web development (HTML/CSS, WordPress or simple frameworks).
- Curiosity about AI tools, agents, and workflow automation.
- Mindset & Attitude
- Strong willingness to learn and take feedback.
- Practical problem-solving approach.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
- Communication
- Able to explain technical work clearly to non-technical teammates.
- Organised and clear in written communication.
