Position Title: UI/UX Intern

Role Summary

As a UI/UX Intern, you will support the end-to-end digital product development at Solve Education!, focusing on assisting UI/UX designers, and contributing to development efforts that enable program implementation. You will work cross-functionally with the design and tech teams and collaborate with the Program Delivery team to ensure that product solutions meet programmatic goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. UI/UX Support

  • Assist Program Designers and Researchers in designing and executing user research activities such as surveys, interviews, and usability tests.
  • Gather and synthesize user feedback to help improve the overall user experience.
  • Document key research findings and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Support Program Designer in creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes using tools like Figma.

2. Development Support

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation of user-centric features.
  • Assist in testing features (UAT, regression testing) and reporting bugs or issues.
  • Maintain product documentation, including feature specifications and release notes.
  • Help with basic tool integrations, data configurations, or feature deployments that are required for program execution.

3. Program Delivery Assistance

  • Help translate program requirements into product improvements or new features.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation activities for product usage and impact within programs.
  • Provide insights based on product usage data or field reports to inform product roadmap decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, product Design, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital product development with a social impact mission.
  • Familiar with tools such as Figma and Google Workspace.
  • Basic understanding of user-centered design and agile development processes.
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a team environment.
