What if every young entrepreneur in Indonesia not only built a business but also contributed to reversing environmental waste?
This compelling question guided the discussions as 55 young Indonesians, including many with disabilities, gathered online on 20 March 2025 for Ecopower Enrichment Webinar 3. What truly made the event impactful was the collaborative spirit between mentors, speakers, and volunteers. In particular, our partners from Allianz played a key role in transforming the session from a simple learning opportunity into a tangible step toward sustainable, inclusive growth.
At Solve Education!, we believe sustainable futures are co-created, with partners, volunteers, and community champions playing a pivotal role. This belief is at the heart of the Ecopower program, developed in partnership with Yayasan Allianz Peduli and supported by Allianz Global.
From Learning to Action: A Collaborative Ecosystem
Webinar 3, focused on “Membuat Produk Ramah Lingkungan” (Creating Eco-Friendly Products), was led by Benjamin Dobbs, Vice President of Parongpong RAW Lab. His extensive experience in plastic recycling and the circular economy in Indonesia provided invaluable insights into how businesses can pivot towards sustainability. Benjamin shared practical strategies on conscious material selection, efficient production, and environmentally responsible packaging. As a result, participants gained valuable insight, not only into why sustainable business practices matter, but also into how to implement them effectively. In addition, they were able to understand the practical applications of these strategies in real-world scenarios.
Through Solve Education!’s GAIN framework—Gamification, AI Coaching, Incentives, and Network—we ensure that learning is engaging, personalized, and leads to real-world outcomes. In this session, gamification not only encouraged active participation but also allowed our AI Coach to facilitate a personalized learning experience. As participants collaborated in small groups, they explored ways to make their product ideas more sustainable, guided by Allianz volunteer mentors. The Incentives system recognized their progress, fostering motivation and drive.
Participants, like Lia Yuliawati (48 years old, with a hearing impairment) and Keizar Khrisna Yudha (29 years old, with cerebral palsy), engaged actively in discussions. For example, they brainstormed topics such as raw material choices, energy-efficient production techniques, and post-consumption recycling. In doing so, they demonstrated the program’s inclusivity and real-time feedback model.
Turning Knowledge into Opportunity
This webinar wasn’t a standalone event; it’s part of a broader ecosystem of monthly challenges, mentoring, and a platform where participants will showcase their sustainable business concepts at the Ecopower Exhibition. Allianz’s role exemplifies how corporate partnerships empower youth, foster sustainability, and create a resilient economy. Their involvement in mentoring, organizing, and preparing participants for the exhibition is an inspiring example of how shared value benefits all.
Allianz volunteers took on multiple roles, from mentoring to organizing, creating a learning environment that was both collaborative and impactful. Their contribution made financial literacy and sustainable entrepreneurship accessible, at no cost, to young people across Indonesia, empowering them to become tomorrow’s green business leaders.
