PUSPA BAHARI
PUSPA BAHARI
QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD

When she was a kid, she loved to watch her older brothers play English RPG games until she was 7, that is when she could play it by herself. Because she was willing to understand the game fully but had zero English knowledge, she kept asking her brother about the game. Her brother then gave her an English-Indonesian dictionary and told her that she needs to understand English by herself if she really wants to play the game. And that was how she began to learning English. She learned it by taking a note of every text in the game and translating it word-per-word using a dictionary. Today, she is very thankful of that moment.

She graduated her bachelor’s with a cum laude in Telecommunication Engineering of Telkom University. She has so many dreams: make her family proud, work in a game-related job, become a novel writer and so on. She enjoys learning new things and teaching people, while of course continuously playing games and reading fiction books. Solve Education!’s Dawn of Civilization just gave her such a nostalgic feeling; a throwback to when she learned English through a game. Right now, she’s working in the Quality Assurance department, to make sure that DOC runs smoothly so that many people can learn English in a fun and effective way, just like she did when she was younger.
