When Nurhidayah Tasmin joined the Solve My English (SME) Community in April 2024, she brought not just a passion for teaching—but a deep commitment to empowering others through education. As a teacher at SD Islam Ar-Raafi in Makassar, she was already recognized for her excellence in Quran recitation and memorization (Tahsin & Tahfidz), and she also served as an IT educator. Her desire to learn never stopped. In between teaching, she chased her dream of earning a scholarship for further study—fueled by self-learning and a hunger to grow within her community.
That same drive extended to her students. When Nurhidayah became a Community Ambassador for SME, she saw it as a chance to create a greater impact. By integrating accessible tech into the classroom, she made education more engaging—and more possible—for her learners.
Bringing Innovation into the Classroom: Edbot in Action
One of her standout moves as an ambassador? Introducing her students to Edbot, Solve Education!’s AI-powered learning chatbot. Designed for low-end phones and limited connectivity, Edbot delivers high-impact lessons through gamified microlearning. For Nurhidayah, it became more than a digital tool—it was a way to bring structured, self-paced education to students who might otherwise be left behind.
The response was immediate. Students were hooked. Parents were relieved. Many shared how Edbot allowed their kids to keep learning—even while managing busy schedules or facing travel limitations. One fellow teacher, also a parent, said Edbot was a total game-changer: structured, easy to use, and motivating. It built a sense of community among parents and students alike.
Beyond individual learning, Nurhidayah encouraged her students to join online sessions with the Junior Solvies Community, connecting with peers from different backgrounds.
This is our GAIN approach in action—a model that combines Gamification, AI coaching, Incentives, and peer Networks to deliver inclusive, data-driven education at scale.
A New Chapter, A Continued Mission
This year, Nurhidayah reached a milestone—she became a civil servant (ASN). Though she transitioned out of her teaching role at SD Islam Ar-Raafi, her mission didn’t stop. She continues to advocate for Edbot and other digital resources, encouraging fellow educators and parents to support learning beyond the classroom. Her efforts have made an incredible impact on the community.
Her journey shows what’s possible when passionate educators are equipped with the right tools. She’s part of a growing network of ambassadors proving that innovation doesn’t need big budgets—it just needs bold ideas, the right platform, and local champions within the community.
