What You’ll Be Responsible For
You’ll take ownership of the full communications cycle, from strategy through execution and performance optimization. This is a demanding, multifaceted role that requires exceptional judgment, precision, and proactive leadership.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and lead robust, data-informed marketing and communications strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling content for digital and offline platforms, including press releases, website copy, campaign materials, social media, newsletters, donor communications, and annual reports.
- Campaign Management: Design and execute integrated campaigns that amplify key programs, generate awareness, and strengthen our brand.
- Social Media Leadership: Own our digital presence. Build content calendars, manage platforms, track trends, and grow community engagement.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to surface impact stories, gather insights, and build unified messaging.
- Media and Influencer Relations: Develop media and influencer outreach strategies, maintain press lists and KOLs,, and handle incoming and proactive media/influencer requests.
- Performance Monitoring: Track campaign and content metrics to assess performance and improve ROI.
- AI Integration: Explore, evaluate, and implement AI tools that enhance content development, analytics, and workflow efficiencies.
- Crisis Response: Support the development of clear, timely messaging during reputational or operational challenges.
What We Expect

- Language: Written and verbal communication in English (interviews conducted in English).
- Experience: 1–2+ years in marketing, communications, or related fields, preferably in high-output environments.
- Technical Skills: Strong command of content marketing, digital strategy, brand communications, and social media management.
- Content Expertise: Demonstrated ability to write for diverse audiences and adapt tone and voice across channels.
- Analytical Mindset: Able to interpret metrics and derive strategic insights.
- Tools: Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, and social media scheduling tools is required.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and apply AI tools to enhance communications work.
- Collaboration: Comfortable managing multiple priorities while working both independently and within a distributed team.
- Growth Mentality: Proactive, self-starting, and deeply committed to continuous learning and innovation.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience managing external communications or media relations.
- Working knowledge of SEO, digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
- Basic design/video editing skills to support dynamic content development.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, or Canva AI features.
- Previous work in PR/digital/marketing agencies preferred
