This role sits within Solve Work, supporting essential back-office operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and financial health.

Role Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Operations Executive to support the day-to-day operations of our business unit. This role plays a vital part in ensuring internal processes run smoothly—from payroll and tax submissions to invoicing and employment pass applications. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working across multiple functions to ensure our mission-aligned business activities are well-supported and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll and maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Handle personal and company tax submissions in compliance with local regulations and deadlines
  • Manage Employment Pass and Work Permit applications, renewals, and documentation
  • Prepare and oversee invoicing cycles, ensuring billing accuracy, timely delivery, and follow-up on payments
  • Maintain internal documentation for audits, compliance, and operational transparency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business efficiency and partner success

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in operations, HR, payroll, or basic finance administration (invoicing)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Familiarity with payroll processes, tax filing, and employment pass/work permit procedures
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and standard administrative tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Singapore’s employment and tax regulations
  • Experience in a nonprofit, startup, or social enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with invoicing platforms and remote coordination
  • Passion for social impact and alignment with Solve Education!’s mission
