Solve Education! is seeking an Program Assistant/Assistant Program Manager who is organised, resourceful, and ready to execute with precision in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

Program Support and Coordination

  • Assist in planning, organising, and coordinating program activities and events.
  • Prepare and maintain program plans, schedules, and logistical arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate program documentation, records, and reports.
  • Identify risks or challenges and recommend practical solutions.

Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, education offices (JPN/MOE), universities, and community partners.
  • Manage school visits, stakeholder engagement activities, and partnership events.
  • Support communication with beneficiaries, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Organise meetings, training sessions, workshops, and competitions with teachers, students, and education officials.
  • Represent Solve Education! in external briefings, events, and collaborations.

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Assist in data collection, entry, and reporting to assess program outcomes.
  • Contribute to analysing feedback and data for continuous program improvement.

Administrative and Operational Support

  • Assist with procurement processes and ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination, note-taking, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain organised filing systems for program-related documents.

Team Collaboration

  • Help maintain a positive, supportive, and organised team environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve program objectives.

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Education, Psychology, Communication, Instructional Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience (at least one of the following):

  • Experience working directly with Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri (JPN) or the Ministry of Education (MOE) through official programs, collaborations, or events.
  • Experience managing or coordinating university-level programs (e.g., STEM carnivals, industry talks, youth development projects).
  • Involvement in NGO-led education or community programs (local or international).
  • Hands-on experience running school-based programs (e.g., workshops, competitions, student training).

Skills & Competencies

  • Confident in public speaking and facilitating sessions, especially with students and teachers.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Zoom, and basic reporting tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to coordinate with stakeholders from schools, district/state education offices, and partner organisations.

Other Requirements

  • Based in Malaysia, willing to travel frequently for school engagement and on-site program execution accross Malaysia area.
  • Possess a valid driving licence; having own transport is preferred.

Additional (Bonus)

  • Experience conducting briefings or training for teachers.
  • Familiarity with MOE tools such as DELIMa ID or related systems.
  • Knowledge or user experience with edtech platforms.
