Solve Education! is seeking a Product Designer (UX( who is curious, user-obsessed, and passionate about designing experiences that genuinely work for the people using them. This is a hands-on, mid-level role focused on our web platform, where your design decisions will directly shape how learners, educators, and partners interact with our products.

You’ll work closely with product, tech, and program teams to translate complex requirements into clean, intuitive, and purposeful user experiences. If you can balance creative thinking with analytical rigor, advocate for the user without losing sight of business goals, and deliver polished work in a fast-moving environment, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll own the UX process across our web platform, from discovery through delivery, ensuring every interaction is intentional, accessible, and effective.

User Research: Plan and conduct user research activities, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Translate findings into actionable design insights.

UX Strategy & Information Architecture: Define user flows, site maps, and navigation structures that make complex information easy to access and understand.

Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design intent to stakeholders and developers.

UI Collaboration: Work closely with UI designers or apply strong visual sensibility to ensure designs are both functional and visually coherent.

Usability Testing: Facilitate testing sessions, gather feedback, iterate quickly, and document findings to continuously improve the user experience.

Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system and component library for the web platform.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and program teams to ensure designs are feasible, aligned with goals, and delivered on time.

AI Integration: Explore and apply AI-powered design tools to accelerate research synthesis, prototyping, and workflow efficiency.

What We Expect

This role requires someone who thinks in systems, designs with empathy, and communicates decisions with clarity and confidence.

Language: Strong written and verbal communication in English (interviews conducted in English).

Experience: 3–5 years in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating web platform design across the full UX process.

Research Skills: Proficiency in conducting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research.

Design Skills: Strong command of wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and information architecture.

Tools: Proficiency in Figma is required. Familiarity with FigJam, Maze, or similar research and testing tools is a plus.

Analytical Mindset: Able to use data and user feedback to inform and defend design decisions.

Attention to Detail: High bar for craft, consistency, and clarity across every screen and interaction.

Collaboration: Comfortable working in a cross-functional, distributed team with developers and non-designers alike.

Adaptability: Able to manage multiple projects, respond to feedback constructively, and iterate quickly under tight timelines.


Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience designing for EdTech, social impact, or mission-driven organization
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to facilitate smoother developer handoffs.
  • Experience with analytics tools to inform UX decisions.
